OUR HALL

The Village hall is at the heart of Holbeton.

The hall has staged events for the local community and cherished guests for the past 60 years and has recently undergone a significant renovation.

The hall is available to hire for parties, concerts, film showings, meetings, educational lessons, weddings and community events.

The hall can accommodate up to 130 people, or a seated audience of 100 people, and includes an outside space with a pergola and terrace.
There is also a newly renovated kitchen, two function rooms, a main hall with stage and accessible toilets.

There is car parking available and the hall is situated close to the village’s play park and community orchard.

As a registered charity, we aim to keep our hiring prices low to ensure the hall remains an integral part of our community life.

VILLAGE HALL HISTORY

The Holbeton Village Hall was opened in 1962, replacing a British Legion hut on Church Hill.
The hall was extended in 1999 and the kitchen was fully renovated in 2022.
Holbeton is a village of 600 people, including a parish church, pub and well-stocked village store.
We are twinned with Bodilis in Brittany, France and cultural exchange events are held in the hall by the Holbeton Twinning Association.
